Ugh. My aws environment has a problem and does not work. Was able to follow along to a point using my local dev, but once lesson got into creating additional module using drupal console cannot work along with lesson, as I don't have drupal console. So just watching. This tutor is very good, however the lesson plans are very poor. Cannot help but think this is a wast of time for the most part.
Using video of online training session from two weeks ago, today ran through the intro to module development in Drupal 8, successfully creating a module that does almost nothing in Drupal 8. My work on 2018 doodle day micro site about complete. Has all requested basic functionality.
I've scanned and uploaded two versions of all doodles that have arrived. Events department is now updating each 'doodle' node with remaining bits, such as text for the tile boxes that are displayed through views, and the main node text. When ebay auction is live blocks will appear to link to the auction.
