I use composer all the time, but never really known what Im doing, just copy pasting commands. Today Daniel has been explaining what Composer is, and how it is used. Quite clear morning session, very helpful to start to gain an understanding.

When Im moving around from machine to machine, setting up new drupalvm environments, or simple setting up once again after a series of failures, I need to remember to do a database extract, create a db dump file, to not loose any work that may be in that more up to date database.
How can I do that in vagrant/drupalvm?
The answer is to do an sql dump from inside the vagrant VM, which goes like this:

Nothing is ever straight forward. On this site I Installed a simple, clean blog theme, a sub-theme for bootstrap theme, called Clean Blog, which I liked. Wanted to sub-theme the sub-theme, to then work on and personalise it. However, though I followed the Drupal.org guidance for creating a Drupal 8 sub-theme, or sub-theme of sub-theme, and queried our slack area #support channel, it only fell apart more.

For my main apprenticeship project I will be creating a new 'microsite' within my work's main website.
The site is for 'National Doodle Day', a fundraising event held by Epilepsy Action, to raise money for the charity and support people with epilepsy.
The site has to date been a separate Wordpress site. The objective is to bring the site into our main epilepsy.org.uk Drupal site.
